Biografia
Antonello, born in Cava De 'Tirreni in 1981, resides in Madrid and works as a producer and director of independent films and shorts. He is also engaged in television directing, shooting, and editing videos for international broadcasts, commercials, and institutional productions. He holds a degree in anthropology from Sapienza University of Rome, with a thesis titled "The relationship between cinema and culture: Spain 1997-2007." Antonello has attended workshops and courses led by filmmakers and industry professionals such as Kiarostami, Cecchi D'Amico, Escalle, Storaro, Ferrara, Age, Monicelli, Pontecorvo, Eco, Zuazua, among others. His directorial debut, Blue Lips, is currently in post-production, and he contributes to the Mexican TV Canal 10 program Chiapanecos Por El Mundo. He was honored with the "Knighthood of Youth" by the Province of Salerno (Italy) for his achievements in audiovisual work. His short films and movies have been shown at numerous festivals worldwide, including in the USA, Chile, Peru, Australia, India, and China. As a producer and director, his projects have earned nearly three hundred awards and recognitions, some presented by notable figures such as Francis Ford Coppola, Rutger Hauer, Asia Argento, Enrico Lo Verso, and Alejandro Jodorowsky.
