Biografia
Miriam Larragay Palacios was born in Denia. This young Andalusian girl from Alicante began her journey in theater. At 12 years old, she starred in the short film "Vive," which became a finalist in 2000 at the Valencia International Cinema Festival "Cinema Jove."
In 2011, she played the lead in her first B-movie series created by Manolito Motosierra: "Jodidos kabrones (2012)," followed in 2012 by "Spanish Chainsaw Massacre (2013)."
In 2014, she moved to Madrid to advance her career as an actress and director, continuing her training with regular courses at the UNIR School for Actors and the "Mikoach Actor's Factory School," as well as script and direction studies at "Estudiov." She has starred in numerous short films including "Total pa qué," "Pero mira que eres fea, ¡joder! (2015)," "The Journey," "Polvos de Talco (2014)," "Horny," "The Last Aurora," "La Furia de los Muertos (2013)," "Condió," "Noche Buena," "El sock," "Jhony Chico," and "Ultimately." Additionally, she has worked as an actress and model in numerous music videos and advertisements, posed for renowned plastic artists and sculptors, and is also a dancer. She integrates all these artistic disciplines into her storytelling, creating imaginative narratives inspired by real events.
In 2015, she presented a performance piece based on an original idea by artist Josep Francés, who chose Miriam as the muse for his project "L'Aicara flight." From script to staging, including music, artistic design, and expressive dance, the piece is directed by Miriam. She debuted as a screenwriter and director with the short film "3" in 2018. Currently, she is working on the script for her film while continuing her career as an actress and director.
