Biografia
Lars-Erik Lie was born on July 19, 1970, in Norway. As a child, he enjoyed reading a wide range of genres, from fairy tales and ghost stories to comic books. In the early 1980s, with the arrival of VHS in Norway, he discovered the captivating world of movies.
He began collecting films, particularly focusing on horror. In 1993, he acquired his first VHS camcorder and started creating short films with friends in early 1994. Between 1994 and 1996, he produced 15 short films, including titles such as "Random Violence," "The Killing Hand," "Death Before Dishonour," "The Judge," and "The Cellar."
For nearly a decade until 2005, he paused making fictional shorts, instead working on martial arts videos, a sports fishing film, and other projects. In 2006, he returned to underground filmmaking with the black comedy "Salvation 2: Revenge of AntiChrist." He then began developing a feature film, "The Thrill of a Kill," which was completed in 2011 and released in Norway by Another World Entertainment in 2012.
Since 2011, he has participated in various short film projects, including "Hypnagogia," "Dead Bait," "Close Contact: Kabul, Oslo," and the web series "Beard," which centers on a serial killer.
Lie has practiced martial arts since 1990 and enjoys nature, sports fishing, photography, and movies. He also writes articles and led Predator Alliance Norway from 2011 to 2015. Alongside his creative pursuits, he has worked with mentally challenged individuals since 2000.
Lars-Erik Lie plans to continue promoting and creating underground films and welcomes new, exciting project opportunities.
