Biografia
Nicole J. Butler, an actress, writer, and producer originally from Chicago and trained at Hawkeye, arrived in Hollywood with just $200. She found herself trapped in a cycle of rigid day jobs she disliked, spent money on poor headshots, delivered bad auditions, quit acting, experienced burnout, went completely broke, and had to move to that infamous neighborhood. After years of missteps, she finally began to find success.
After recommitting to acting by studying under Martin Barter at the Sanford Meisner Center in North Hollywood, CA, Nicole has maintained steady work since 2005—both in front of and behind the camera, on stage, and as a voiceover artist. She has appeared in over 100 commercials, TV shows, and independent projects combined, gaining a broad understanding of the entertainment industry. Nicole has been featured in outlets such as HuffPost, CNN, Insider.com, The Hollywood Reporter, The Chicago Sun-Times, FOX LA, WGN Radio, and the actors' trade publication Backstage.
Currently, Nicole is best known for her role as "She Shed Cheryl" in State Farm's viral "She Shed" commercial.
