Roberto Accornero (born March 9, 1957, in Ivrea) is an Italian actor, comedian, and voice actor known for his work in cinema, theater, video games, and television. He gained recognition in Italy for his portrayal of Captain/Major Daniele Aloisi in the TV series "Il maresciallo Rocca" and psychologist Guido Geller in the sitcom "Camera Café."
Among his notable roles are Monsignor Angelo Dell'Acqua in the miniseries "Papa Giovanni" and Captain Aloisi in "Il maresciallo Rocca." He began his theater career at an early age, leaving college to accept a job offered by his professor, Gian Renzo Morteo. Since 1981, he has been active in radio dramas, forming a long-lasting collaboration with Alberto Gozzi and the Barlumen Institute. During the same period, he played Pieretto in Vittorio Cottafavi’s film "Il diavolo sulle colline," which was featured at the 1985 Cannes Film Festival.
Accornero has worked with renowned directors such as Federico Fellini ("Ginger e Fred"), Silvio Soldini ("L'aria serena dell'Ovest"), as well as Giannarelli, Calopresti, Ferrario, Silver, Green, Faenza, Saura, and Martone. On stage, he spent two seasons with Carlo Cecchi and collaborated with directors like Ronconi and Missiroli. His television roles often include national-popular characters, ranging from law enforcement to thieves, under the direction of Gregory, Perelli, Di Carlo, These, Captains, Giordana, Zaccaro, Dayan, Cavani, Frazzi, and others. In 2010, he received best actor awards at three festivals for the Cribari short film "Diario di un disagiato.
