Biografia
Marie was born and raised in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, and moved to New Jersey, United States, in 1996. She later lived in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she launched a small business called Scrappyscloset, inspired by her puppy Scrappy. She attended the University of Houston, studying Petroleum Land Management, and began working in the oil and gas industry as a Land Technician. While balancing school and work, she also trained to compete in NPC competitions. Marie hosts a TV show called Phitness on FOX Television, where she shares valuable advice on maintaining fitness. In 2015, she launched MarieBFit.com, focusing on the beauty of health and fitness, and regularly posts fitness tips on her YouTube channel, MarieBFit.
Marie considers her hometowns to be Croix Des Bouquets, Haiti, and Pittsburgh, PA, USA. She later moved to Manhattan, New York, and speaks Creole, French, and English fluently, with very clear English—a skill she attributes to having fewer Haitian friends after moving to the US. Athletic by nature, she enjoys listening to and dancing to hip hop, as well as traveling. Marie has had a diverse career that includes campaign ads, fitness competitions, fashion shows, and extensive work in front of the camera on TV.
