Biografia
Real S. Florido is a Filipino film and content producer, director, and writer. He produced the film Iska (2019), directed by Theodore Boborol, and directed Third Is My First (2014). He has also created and produced original content for television and digital platforms, including the GMA 7 series "Protégé" (2011-2012), the anthology film series "Ampalaya Chronicles" (2020-2021) on iWant TFC, "Habangbuhay" on Vivamax (2021), "Bakit Di Mo Sabihin" (2022), Pilgrim: 500 Years of Catholic Faith in the Philippines (2022), and "Will You Be My Ex" (2022).
His feature film Third Is My First (2014) premiered at the 10th Cinemalaya Film Festival. The film won the Gender Sensitivity Award at the 2nd QCinema International Film Festival in 2014, received the Rising Star Award for Full Length Feature at the Canada International Film Festival in 2015, and was an official selection at both the Hawaii International Film Festival (2014) and Jersey City International Film Festival (2015). He produced Iska (2019), which earned Best Sound, Best Script, and Best Actress awards at Cinemalaya 2019, won Best Actress at the Harlem International Film Festival, Best Screenplay at the Asian Film Festival Barcelona, and competed at the Bengaluru and Portoviejo film festivals. After spending 13 years at GMA Broadcasting Network as a creative producer, writer, and director, Florido now runs his boutique production company, Firestarters Productions Inc. He currently produces, writes, and directs content for digital platforms, major local studios, and television.
He serves as the Executive Vice President and Chief Creative Officer of the acclaimed film and content production company CreaZion Studios.
