Mason Bryce Pike (known in the ring as "Mad Man Mason") is an American actor and professional wrestling referee. Originally from LaGrange, Georgia, Pike’s passion for performance began in the third grade under the mentorship of master storyteller Carol Cain, where he developed early skills in improvisation, scriptwriting, and the violin. He later expanded his training as part of the Troup County High School drama and competitive improv teams.
In 2008, Pike broke into the professional wrestling industry, training under the legendary "The Golden Boy" Chick Donovan, establishing a foundational physical presence that would later complement his on-screen career. Pike has refereed for such companies as TNA, NWA, GCW and others aiming to work with the WWE eventually.
After graduating high school with honors in 2014, Pike relocated to Atlanta to pursue film and television while studying law at Georgia State University. He balanced his academic pursuits with rigorous on-set experience, working as a full-time background artist on major productions including Spider-Man: Homecoming (Marvel), Goosebumps (Sony), Constantine (NBC), and Family Feud. His reliability quickly transitioned him into consistent stand-in and photo-double work on high-profile projects like The Walking Dead (AMC), Jungle Cruise (Disney), Game Night, and HBO’s Lovecraft Country. Throughout this period, Pike gained invaluable masterclass experience working directly under acclaimed directors such as Greg Nicotero, Tyler Perry, Jason Bateman, and Ang Lee.
Pike graduated early and with honors from GSU in 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Pre-Law. Driven to transition from background roles to principal acting, Pike signed with East Coast Talent Agency in January 2019, where he continues to build his footprint as a versatile talent in the Southeast market.
Expanding his expertise behind the camera, Pike joined the locations department in 2021. Since then, he has contributed to major television and film productions, including Sweet Magnolias (Netflix), Teen Wolf: The Movie (Paramount+), and Will Trent (Disney). He remains an active, dedicated member of the locations department today, leveraging his comprehensive, 360-degree knowledge of production both in front of and behind the lens.
