Evan Weinstein served as Co-Executive Producer, Director, and Writer for the first 18 seasons of The Amazing Race, earning 7 Emmy Awards, a Directors Guild Award, and a Producers Guild Award.
Most recently, Weinstein managed post-production for Curtis Stone's food and lifestyle series, Holidays With Curtis & Lindsay. He was Showrunner for Disney's Holiday Magic Quest, the first reality competition filmed on Disney World rides, and produced the Quarantine/Lockdown House segment for the film Borat Subsequent Moviefilm.
Weinstein created the web-based reality show Bud House for Budweiser's 2010 FIFA World Cup sponsorship, filmed on location in South Africa. The daily series featured a cast from 32 countries speaking 14 languages, generating 200 million unique impressions worldwide.
For Budweiser, he also created and produced The Big Time, a reality-competition series on ABC, and Dream On, a docu-soap about an English soccer team airing on NBC Sports Network and ESPN UK.
He was Executive Producer/Showrunner for TBS's pilot Famous-ish, Pop Network's Just Kidding, Outdoor Channel's docu-soap The Gunfather, NatGeo's Forage Wars, Soap Net's Fashionista Diaries, VH1's Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew, and consulted on the U.S. adaptation of CBS's dramatic competition series Hunted.
Additional credits as writer, producer, or director include Paradise Hotel, Profiles From The Front Line, Before They Were Stars, America's Funniest People, Cooking Channel's Food Paradise and Outrageous Holiday Feasts with Carla Hall, SyFy's Robot Combat League, History Channel's The Most, A&E's Top Ten, Paramount Syndication's Wild Things, The Suzanne Somers Show, the news magazine Extra, and History Channel's two-hour documentary The Apostle Paul. On the development side, Weinstein has consulted for MTV, SyFy, Animal Planet, Jupiter Entertainment, O'Malley Productions, and Gale Anne Hurd's Valhalla Entertainment.
Evan holds a BFA in Drama from Syracuse University and a Diploma of Music from New York’s renowned High School of Performing Arts.
