Biografia
Adelina Anthony (she/they) hails from the Payaya Territories (San Antonio, Tejas). They are a critically acclaimed, award-winning Two Spirit Xicana lesbian actor, writer, director, producer, and teaching artist. In 2012, they co-founded AdeRisa Productions with Marisa Becerra to support talent from their communities both in front of and behind the camera. Their work explores themes such as colonization, feminism(s), ancestral memories, gender, health, race and ethnicity, immigration, sexuality, land and environment, and issues impacting Two Spirit, queer, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, womyn of color, and people of color communities. Adelina lives and works on Tongva and Chumash lands. Since 2001, they have toured the national university circuit presenting solo shows, stand-up comedy, poetry readings, workshops, classroom visits, and graduation keynotes.
