Raised in Mt. Healthy, Ohio, near Cincinnati, Trish Cook began performing at age eight on local TV talent shows and competed nationally in baton twirling. She later participated as a high school cheerleader and acted in several plays.
Trish graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a near-perfect 3.97 GPA, majoring in Marketing, Finance, and Theatre. She then moved to New Jersey to attend Princeton’s MBA program and studied at The Stella Adler Conservatory in Manhattan.
During her studies, Trish worked as a shoe and leg model for Salvatore Ferragamo on Fifth Avenue. She also gained experience in advertising on Madison Avenue, becoming Dior’s Fashion Coordinator. Additionally, she worked in interior design and received a National Design Award presented at The Waldorf-Astoria in Manhattan.
Trish appeared on the final episode of Ryan's Hope and was cast in One Life to Live, Another World, Guiding Light, As The World Turns, and All My Children. Her first feature film, The Messenger, featured her in a major role; the film won awards at Cannes and premiered in NYC. She also performed Off-Broadway in the play Criminals.
Her commercial work includes Miller Lite and Bacardi Rum ads, and she served as the spokesperson for a Clinique parody as the "Ageless Sales Lady." She even performed as a tap dancer in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade.
While in New York, Trish became a production partner on several independent film projects.
After relocating to Los Angeles, she starred in the feature And Call Me in the Morning and joined Magnet Media Group (MMG) as Director of Operations. She continued acting, landing the lead in the Fox pilot Post Mortem and other films while contributing to MMG productions. She played a key role in the production of 13, starring Jason Statham, Mickey Rourke, Sam Riley, Ray Winston, Michael Shannon, and 50 Cent, as well as Sony Pictures’ thriller The Experiment, directed by Paul Scheuring and starring Adrien Brody and Forest Whitaker. Trish served as Associate Producer on the thriller Dark Tide, starring Halle Berry, a co-production between South Africa and the UK, directed by John Stockwell.
In summer 2011, she was Executive Producer of the independent feature Destinea: Our Island, then in post-production, and served as Production Consultant on the feature Favor, also in post-production.
On December 23, 2011, Trish joined Dream Factory Entertainment as a producer. Due to her major role in American Girls, which wrapped on February 3, 2012, she moved to Paramount Studios and started her position at Dream Factory on February 5, 2012.
Trish is a member of Women in Film (WIF), the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), and supports several rescue organizations for abandoned animals.
