Biografia
Mark Banker, an Emmy-nominated and award-winning writer, producer, and director, started his career at the University of Wisconsin-Madison as a writer, national advertising director, and associate publisher for the satirical paper The Onion. After graduation, he moved to Los Angeles to focus on TV and film. Banker has worked across multiple genres, including sitcoms like Spin City and Battery Park, feature films such as Fantasy Football and Common Enemy, reality TV with The Osbournes, stage productions like General Admissions, and even adult puppet shows like Crank Yankers. However, his primary expertise lies in animation, with credits including Adventure Time, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, Duck Dodgers, Beware the Batman, and Clarence. In 2016, he became head writer for Dreamworks Animation’s The Epic Tales of Captain Underpants.
Banker graduated with honors from UW-Madison, earning membership in Phi Beta Kappa and Phi Kappa Phi, with degrees in Journalism, Advertising, and Integrated Liberal Studies. He is married to actress Tisha Terrasini Banker, and they have two children, Athena and Atticus, along with a dog named Ookla.
