Jesse LeBeau is an American actor, author, television host, and nationally recognized youth motivational speaker and teen life coach. Born and raised on a remote island in Alaska, he took a small boat every day to get to school. Jesse grew up smaller than most kids his age but dreamed of becoming a professional basketball player. As an underdog with big dreams, he was overlooked most of his life but made up for it by spending countless hours practicing in the local gym. His improbable rise from a tiny Alaskan town to national television has become the foundation of his inspirational message for today’s youth.
Jesse first broke into entertainment through basketball, earning national attention as a streetball player under the nickname "Spin Cycle." His creativity on the court led to starring roles in high-profile campaigns with Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Blake Griffin, Rajon Rondo, Amar’e Stoudemire, and appearances alongside celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Kevin Hart, Heidi Klum, Snoop Dogg, Dennis Rodman, Allen Iverson, Charles Barkley, and Kevin Durant, with whom he made his film debut in Warner Bros.’ Thunderstruck. He later became a regular on the Emmy-nominated TV series This Just In and regularly competed in nationally televised streetball games, as well as appearing in over 50 major commercials.
In recent years, Jesse has become widely recognized for his work in youth empowerment. He is the founder of The Attitude Advantage Program (TAAP), a fast-growing national coaching and mentorship program helping parents raise confident, resilient, and mentally healthy teenagers. Jesse has spoken to over one million students live, produced multiple national school tours, and created the Attitude Is Everything Foundation, Inc., which serves at-risk youth across the country.
In addition to his live speaking and coaching work, Jesse has created and hosted multiple original television and digital series and pilots focused on youth development, family connection, and personal growth. His programming includes Attitude Is Everything with Jesse LeBeau, TEAM UP (pilot), What’s Your Story?, and other projects featured on his IMDb profile. Through these series, Jesse blends storytelling, interviews, and real-world lessons designed to help young people and families build confidence, resilience, and purpose. Jesse also hosts multiple podcast and video series, including TEAM UP with Jesse LeBeau and Parenting Teens Today, featuring interviews with celebrities, professional athletes, educators, parenting experts, and cultural leaders. Past guests include Ted Nugent, Dean Cain, Baron Davis, and many others.
He is also the author of several books, including Among the Giants and TEAM UP!, as well as the creator of the TAAP Teen Guidebook, TAAP Journal, and TAAP School Curriculum used within his coaching programs.
