Giselle Eisenberg has rapidly emerged as one of the most in-demand young actors in film and television, seamlessly transitioning between comedy and drama on both big and small screens. She currently plays the spirited, outspoken Sophia Hughes on CBS's popular comedy "LIFE IN PIECES."
Giselle made her feature film debut at just five years old, portraying the daughter of Leonardo DiCaprio and Margot Robbie in Martin Scorsese's "THE WOLF OF WALL STREET" (2013). After this remarkable start, she earned critical acclaim for her lead role as Hope Donnelly opposite Al Pacino, Jennifer Garner, and Bobby Cannavale in "DANNY COLLINS," written and directed by Dan Fogelman. Critics praised her portrayal of Mr. Pacino’s granddaughter with ADHD, calling it one of the most authentic performances of a child with the condition. They noted her comic timing, expressive facial expressions, and strong chemistry with Pacino, saying she "steals every scene" and is "the film’s biggest delight."
Giselle continued her impressive career in the acclaimed drama "A MOST VIOLENT YEAR," playing the youngest daughter of Jessica Chastain and Oscar Isaac, and in the comedy "SEX TAPE," as the daughter of Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel. This holiday season, she stars as Gracie Foster in "I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS," alongside James Brolin and Mena Suvari.
Her television work includes guest-starring and recurring roles on the STARZ drama "FLESH & BONE," NBC’s "LAW & ORDER SVU," and "BELIEVE," where she portrayed the lead character’s younger self, Young Bo Adams. Giselle has also showcased her comedic talents in national commercials for brands like Kraft Mac & Cheese and Cheerios.
Her first audition was for Holiday Inn, which involved eating a jelly donut and telling a joke — a performance that landed her the role. Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, Giselle divides her time between Los Angeles and New Paltz, NY, in the scenic Hudson Valley due to her role on "LIFE IN PIECES." She enjoys swimming, skiing, rock climbing, painting, and playing the Cordoba guitar, a gift from her "LIFE IN PIECES" and "I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS" co-star James Brolin.
Giselle credits her older sister, Julia, for inspiring her introduction to acting.
