"Can I even do this? Yes, I can." This call and response encapsulates the essence of Shawn K. Jain's journey as an artist. He has fearlessly embraced every challenge that life has placed in his path, pushing himself beyond limits time and time again. And here's the thing: Shawn makes it all seem effortlessly effortless. It's almost impossible to resent him for it, though, as his professionalism, consistency, playfulness and irresistible charm (or "Shawn Jain sparkle"), just makes you want to be his friend more than anything else.
Shawn's unwavering self-motivation, combined with his exceptional intellect and irreverent attitude, constantly drives him to venture into new and uncomfortable terrain. In doing so, he becomes a true inspiration, motivating others to embrace bravery and embark on their own personal journeys of growth. He challenges his audiences to aspire for more than who they are today, urging them never to settle, but instead constantly strive to evolve and develop into the best versions of themselves.
Prior to saying yes to his calling to be an actor, Shawn was a PR pro who did important work with organizations like the ACLU. Director Scott Eck: "Shawn has just as much presence on camera as he does on stage. Mesmerizing. And the absolute best person to have on set. Professional, fun, and fabulous."
Some of his favorite theatre credits include: Pericles (Target Margin), Cowboys & East Indians (Denver Center), Heartland (New Repertory Theater), Clue (Arts Center of Coastal Carolina), Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley (Merrimack Repertory Theatre), 12 Chairs (The O'Neill), Hamlet (Gloucester Stage Company), Assistance (American Repertory Theater), Guards at the Taj (SoHo Shakes), Our Town (Nebraska Repertory Theatre), and 2nd Murderer (The Flea).
Shawn is the lead in a campaign for Universal Theme Parks and has narrated over 120 audiobooks.
