Raised in the scenic wine region of Sonoma County and daughter of a musician, Amiée Conn (pronounced Ah-mee Kahn) has been immersed in music, theatre, and the arts from an early age. Originally from Santa Rosa, CA, her family moved to Anchorage, Alaska in 1994, where she spent much of her childhood. There, she discovered her passion through numerous theatre and dance performances, including participation in the TBA performing arts conservatory for youth and training at an Irish Dance Academy, where she became a lead dancer in their touring troupe. Amiée also pursued figure skating and ice performances, but it was her first role in a local theatre production that truly ignited her passion.
In 2000, Amiée's family returned to Santa Rosa, CA, where she began professionally pursuing film and theatre. She took classes in San Francisco and attended local workshops before signing with the Marla Dell Agency in San Francisco. In 2001, she secured a featured role in Michael Jackson's 9/11 Tribute Music Video for the song "Cry," filmed in the Bay Area. This experience reinforced her commitment to her career path. Next, she moved to Los Angeles, where she starred in lead roles in productions such as "Gypsy," "Evita," "Disney's Beauty and the Beast," and "The King & I." Amiée made her television debut portraying the historical figure Concepcion in The History Channel’s mini-series "Conquest of America."
In 2006, Amiée was crowned Miss Sonoma County and competed as a Miss California candidate in the Miss America state preliminaries, earning the state scholarship and talent award for her vocal rendition of "Summertime" from the operetta *Porgy & Bess*. This title gave her opportunities to perform, participate in charity events, radio interviews, public relations, and advocate for her platform on Cancer Awareness. It allowed her to give back to the community and serve as a positive role model for young women, a cause she holds dear.
Before relocating to Los Angeles in the summer of 2007, Amiée interned at AE Casting and worked on the film "Bottle Shock," featuring Chris Pine, Bill Pullman, Freddy Rodriguez, and Alan Rickman, shot on location in Kenwood and Sonoma. Later that year, she studied at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy Conservatory for Musical Theatre & Film in Los Angeles. Shortly after, she began booking roles, including working as Jennifer Connelly's photo double in Twentieth Century Fox’s "The Day the Earth Stood Still," starring Keanu Reeves and Jon Hamm. Amiée also appeared in the new stage musical *Serrano*, directed by Joel Zwick and written by Madeline Sunshine, at the El Portal Theatre in Los Angeles.
Following the loss of her mother, Diana, to cancer on New Year’s Eve 2009, Amiée became increasingly active in advocacy, supporting the American Cancer Association, UNICEF, and serving as an ambassador for Colon Cancer Awareness.
After gaining experience in modeling and commercials, Amiée expanded her creative pursuits by starring in and co-producing the award-winning web series "Lila, Long Distance" in 2010, created by writer and actress Dawn M. Green. The comedy follows a struggling actress who starts a successful phone sex hotline business. The series achieved viral success on FunnyorDie.com, Blip.tv, Koldcast.tv, and YouTube. Amiée received the Best Actress in a Dramedy Award at the LA Web Festival 2011 and earned a Best Actress nomination from FilmBreak Awards for her performance.
More recently, Amiée guest-starred opposite James Van der Beek, Krysten Ritter, and Dreama Walker on the ABC comedy "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" and worked alongside Dustin Hoffman on the HBO series "LUCK."
In addition to her work in TV, film, and theatre, Amiée is a singer-songwriter currently developing her solo music, with plans to release an album later this year.
