Biografia
Porsche Thomas is a Los Angeles-based creator, producer, and author working at the intersection of culture, comedy, and representation.
She began her career in media and entertainment at VH1, where she worked across development, talent, production, strategic marketing, and event execution -including playing a key role in bringing Black Girls Rock! to television and curating events surrounding Hip Hop Honors.
Thomas co-created, wrote, and starred in the digital comedy series Hungry for All Def Digital, and wrote for the Webby-honored scripted series Put You On for Nike and The SpringHill Company. She co-created, co-produced, and co-hosted New Soul Kitchen on TV One and CLEO TV, a long-running lifestyle cooking series reaching broad national audiences.
She is currently in active development on scripted film and television projects as a creative producer, with a focus on culturally specific, commercially viable IP. She is associated with 3 Century and Lux Angeles Studios.
Her debut children's book, Twins, But Different, published by Penguin Random House's Step Into Reading imprint in 2025, is inspired by her twin sons August and Berlin - known for their role as Baby Devante on ABC's Black-ish. The book is the first in a series exploring identity, individuality, and multicultural family life.
