Early Career Nayeem began his career in 2000 as a model and host on Bangladesh's Channel I, eventually becoming a visual jockey (VJ). In 2004, he transitioned into the role of Executive in Brand Communication at Channel I, a position he held until 2008. It was during this time that he was introduced to acting, making his debut in a Valentine's Day special drama by Rumana Rashid Eshita in 2006. Despite his growing popularity as an actor, Nayeem continued his work in brand communication.
Breakthrough in Film In 2008, Nayeem auditioned for and landed a role in the film Jaago, a breakthrough that set the course for his acting career. After just 10 days of filming, he left his job in brand communication to pursue acting full-time.
