Biografia
Joshua grew up in Pittsburgh, PA, where he was involved in local theater as both a performer and worker. He later moved to Boston to attend Emerson College, studying Theater and Film. After graduation, he remained in Boston, working in Film and TV production. In 2001, he relocated to Los Angeles and launched a second career as a graphic novelist. His debut graphic novel, Elk's Run, created with artist Noel Tuazon, received seven Harvey Award nominations, including Best New Talent, Best Writer, and Best Series. His graphic novel Tumor, also with Noel Tuazon, earned an Eisner Award nomination, and his comic series Echoes, with artist Rahsan Ekedal, was nominated for multiple Harvey Awards.
Many of his works, including Echoes, Tumor, The Bunker, Elk's Run, Alibi, and The Test, have been or are currently in development as TV series or feature films.
Alongside his work in both independent and mainstream comics, Joshua expanded into writing for Film, Video Games, Animation, and Television. He now primarily focuses on TV writing, while continuing to write for features, animation, and comics.
He resides in Los Angeles with his wife, daughter, and two mischievous yet affectionate dogs.
