As a multi-award-winning director and Executive Producer. Passionate about developing and telling compelling stories and making an impact with my work. Dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the world.
Numerous accolades have marked my career, including 15 awards and 42 nominations in 13 countries and, as a production company owner, the Sundance Award, Hot Docs Award, Silver Wolf Award, One World Media Award, Robert Award, and Danish Film Academy awards.
The latest awards were the Envision Award 2025, Rome International Movie Awards 2025 and Champs-Élysées Film Awards 2025, and I have also received a Special Mention in the Rory Peck Trust 2020. In addition, I have been nominated for the British Journalism Awards 2019 and 2020, Amnesty Media Award 2021, Wincott Awards 2021, CPH:DOX F:act Awards 2022, Cinema for Peace Award 2022, Warsaw Intn Film Awards 2022, Human Rights Film Festival Berlin 2022, PRIX Italia 2022, Films for Future Festival 2022, EU Human Rights Film 2022 and Nordic Doc Film Festival 2022, Millenium Film Festival 2023. Notable works include "If Pigs Could Talk", "MARS Exposed" (CBS News) "The Chocolate War," "Cadbury Exposed" (Channel 4), "Dating's Dangerous Secrets" (BBC), "Starbucks & Nespresso: The Truth About Your Coffee" (Channel 4) and "Stacey Dooley: Face to Face With The Bounty Hunters" (BBC). In addition, I have directed and executive produced over 85 documentaries for international broadcasters such as the BBC, Channel 4, Sky, A+E, ARD, SVT, ARTE, TV2, and DR.
I am the director of three international trilogies, "The Dark Side of Chocolate," "Shady Chocolate", and "The Chocolate War," which have been broadcast in over 35 countries. In addition to my professional accomplishments, I am a published author of 15 fiction and non-fiction books.
