Tim Gibbons is an award-winning television producer, showrunner, director, and writer, best known as Executive Producer of "Curb Your Enthusiasm", Kevin Hart's "Real Husbands of Hollywood", and "Betty White's Off Their Rockers", among many others. ---- During his career, he's won a Golden Globe, been nominated for six prime-time Emmys, won two PGA Danny Thomas Producer of the Year Awards, an NAACP Image Award, two DGA awards, and the Monte-Carlo Television Festival Outstanding Producer of the Year, plus others. In 2009, he received the PGA's most prestigious award, the Charles B. FitzSimons Award, bestowing honorary lifetime membership in the guild. ---- Gibbons has a long track record of service to the Producers Guild of America (PGA), having served as President (with Kathleen Kennedy), Vice President of TV, plus 15 additional years on the National Board of Directors. Prior to this, he was Chair of the American Association of Producers. For the Television Academy, Gibbons served as the Second Vice Chair and was Governor (Producers) for nine years before that. Gibbons is also a longtime member of the Directors Guild of America (DGA) and Writers Guild of America (WGA). ---- Gibbons started his television career as a PA at Dick Clark Productions, where he worked for four years. He's delivered more than 1,400 hours of television on more than 145 series, specials, and pilots, including a four-year stint as Executive in Charge of Production (VP) for Telepictures. Gibbons has been in the business for a long time, but he still loves learning about the art, craft, and wonder of producing, directing, and writing.
