Biografia
Graduated in Journalism, Tatiana Toffoli works as a producer, director, screenwriter, and editor of series and documentaries focused on culture, society, health, and science. She conceived, produced, directed, and edited the 8 episodes of the series Amazônia, Arqueologia e Floresta (Amazonia, Archaeology of the Forest), produced and released by SescTV in 2022 and 2024. She directed and edited Juruá, part of the feature film Pessoas Contar Para Viver (People Tell to Live) - winner of the Best Film Award in the "Pensamento" category and the Curta! Award in 2023 (43rd São Paulo International Film Festival). Her other works include Baré, Povo do Rio (Baré, River People, 2015 - Best Artistic Achievement at TELAS Festival), Louceiras (Ceramists, 2013 - Honorable Mention at the 14th FICA), and Chapa (Buddy, 2009 - Award at Con-Can Movie Festival, Japan).
She edited Chico Rei Entre Nós (Audience Award for Best Brazilian Documentary and Honorable Mention at the 44th São Paulo International Film Festival), Dona Helena (Lady Helena, 2006 - Best Documentary at Tudo Sobre Mulheres), and Do Pó e Terra (From the dust of the earth, 2016).
In the 1990s, she was a producer for MTV no Ar (MTV On Air) and directed the TV series Mochilão MTV (MTV Backpacking) and Expedição Caiçara (Caiçara Expedition, TV Cultura). She has also served as a jury member at several festivals and showcases, including the Mostra Ecofalante de Cinema Ambiental and the Mostra Audiovisual Vidas Indígenas organized by the Museu e Pessoa.
