Heba Thorisdottir, an Iceland-born make-up artist based in Los Angeles, has collaborated with some of Hollywood's biggest stars throughout her career. Her visionary and adaptable style spans red carpet events, films, high-fashion editorials, and commercial advertising, making her a valuable partner in any creative project. Heba started in music videos, working with artists like REM, Bruce Springsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sting. She soon secured a role as an additional make-up artist on the TV series Twin Peaks, where director David Lynch based the character "Heba Thorsdottir" on her during the show's first season. A frequent collaborator with Quentin Tarantino, Heba designed make-up for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Django Unchained, Inglourious Basterds, and Kill Bill Volumes 1 and 2. She has also served as a personal make-up artist to actresses including Cate Blanchett, Scarlett Johansson, Brie Larson, Lucy Liu, and Kristen Wiig. Heba’s expertise is highly sought after in editorial and advertising, having created looks for covers of L'Uomo Vogue, Mademoiselle, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Vibe, and Shape magazines, as well as major campaigns for Levi's, Redken, J.Crew, Emporio Armani, Nike, The GAP, and Ray-Ban. Since 2007, Heba has been married to E. Shepherd Stevenson and has two adult sons from a previous marriage: Adam Bjorn Fienberg and Thorir Fienberg.
