Brandon Carroll is an award-winning producer and media executive with over two decades of experience developing, selling, and producing premium feature films, television series, and branded content. He has built a career collaborating with world-class talent and creative partners across major studios, streamers, and brands.
In 2014, Carroll co-founded Film 45 with acclaimed filmmaker Peter Berg, serving as Executive Vice President of Programming and helping build the company into an Emmy-winning and Academy Award-nominated production company. Under his creative leadership, Film 45 became known for elevated non-scripted storytelling across premium documentary series, feature films, and high-impact branded content for major platforms and partners.
Carroll served as Executive Producer or Producer on more than 30 documentary features and series, including the Emmy winning Good Night Oppy (Amazon), Shaq (HBO), McCartney 3,2,1 (Hulu), Victoria’s Secret: Angels & Demons (Hulu), Naomi Osaka (Netflix), The Keepers (Netflix), A Man Named Scott (Amazon) and QB1: Beyond the Lights. His work has been recognized with numerous Emmy nominations, a Sports Emmy win (State of Play, HBO) and an Academy Award nomination for the short documentary Audible (Netflix).
In parallel with his long-form storytelling work, Carroll has led and overseen premium branded content and partnership projects for companies including the NFL, Amazon, Under Armour, Wendy’s, Verizon to name a few, bridging cinematic storytelling with brand strategy and cultural relevance.
Earlier in his career, Carroll spent over a decade at Herzog & Company, where he produced and shot behind-the-scenes documentaries and marketing-driven content for major studio releases. Working directly on set with A-list filmmakers and talent like Jerry Bruckheimer, George Clooney, Judd Apatow, Joe Kosinski and many more - his work played a key role in studio publicity campaigns, DVD and bonus-feature storytelling, and audience engagement around large-scale theatrical releases.
Carroll is a member of the Television Academy and the Producers Guild of America. He holds a BFA in Film Producing from Florida State University College of Motion Picture Arts.
