Aldana Vaccaro is a highly accomplished Producer and Director with over 25 years of experience in unscripted television and documentary film. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and now based in New York City, her career reflects a global perspective on compelling storytelling. As co-founder of Dos Pandas, a production company established in 2011 with operations in Argentina and the US, Aldana has been instrumental in creating over 600 hours of award-winning television for top networks across Latin America. This includes the 10-episode series The Fires in Paris with Francis Mallmann, which aired on El Gourmet, a leading culinary network with extensive reach across Latin America. Her extensive documentary and unscripted credits span major platforms. She served as Executive in Charge on The Home Team: NY Jets (Prime Video) and Once Upon a Debutante (NOW TV). For The History Channel, she worked on Hunting History with Steven Rinella. Additional notable projects include Vice's Black Market, hosted by Michael K. Williams, and the three-part series Sneaker Wars: Adidas v. Puma (Disney+ & Hulu). Aldana's documentary feature work also includes Co-Producing Unknown Beauty: François Nars (2023), directed by Lisa Immordino Vreeland, and serving as Assistant Director on Andrés Di Tella's seminal work, Fotografías (Photographs), assisting with its acclaimed festival run at BAFICI and the Princeton Documentary Festival, among others. Beyond Dos Pandas, Aldana thrives as a freelance producer, overseeing diverse projects shot across the US, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Latin America. She has collaborated with renowned directors and showrunners such as Matt Kay, Morgan Fallon, Michael Steed, Don Argott, Sheena Joyce, Eric Wattenberg, and Chris Cechin De La Rosa. Her work has also supported campaigns for major brands and institutions like Google.org, Carolina Herrera, NARS, Tiffany, Lehmann Maupin, and the Gilbert and George Centre. Aldana holds a Bachelor's in Journalism and Communication, a Filmmaking Certificate from NYU, and an MA in Media Studies from The New School, specializing in documentary. She is passionate about crafting impactful narratives, bringing diverse stories to life from concept to completion.
