Mr. Paul Kreppel, a 2007 Tony Award recipient, is best recognized for his television acting career. An esteemed Emerson College alumnus, he began his career in 1968 with the Boston improvisational theater group "The Proposition," alongside members such as Jane Curtin, Judith Kahan, Josh Mostel, Munson Hicks, and Fred Grandy. After the group relocated to New York, he quickly made a name for himself in the off-Broadway scene with roles in "Godspell," "Tuscaloosa's Calling Me...," and NY Shakespeare Festival productions including "Comedy of Errors," "Agamemnon," and "Alice in Concert" featuring Meryl Streep. In 1979, he moved to Los Angeles and was cast as Sonny Mann, the piano player, on the TV show It's a Living just eight months later. He often returns to New York for theater, as he did in the 1990s with "Hello Muddah, Hello Fadduh!," and also appeared in the National Tour of "Jerome Robbins' Broadway." Paul continues to act and direct, and with his WetRock Entertainment partner, Ms. Murphy Cross, he has produced, created, and directed the Tony-winning "Jay Johnson: The Two & Only!" He has served on the Council of Actors' Equity Association and as a board member of the Screen Actors Guild. He has two children: Will, a musician and composer, and Molly, a performer and photographer.
