Jordan is a cover model and entrepreneur who recently became the commercial spokeswoman for Redcoon, a leading German online consumer electronics retailer. She set a record by gracing the cover of Britain's Zoo magazine six times and secured her first role in an independent film.
Born and raised near Luxembourg, Jordan began her career with an apprenticeship in hotel management. Feeling unfulfilled, she transitioned into the modeling industry, initially working behind the scenes as a beautician and make-up artist for a major French company before branching out independently. The international buzz generated by Sebastian’s photographs of her led to the launch of Jordan’s multifaceted website in early 2010, boosting her popularity worldwide. Recognizing that most of her fans and potential clients were based in the U.S., she relocated there, landing her first major modeling job with Haute Shop LA and signing her first significant contract.
After her debut U.S. television appearance on the WGN Morning News, Jordan secured additional TV spots and photo shoots for various magazines and websites. At the end of 2010, she won a contest to become the spokesmodel for COBRA, a racing sport seat manufacturer, a role she held until recently. She also earned second place on the Top 100 Internet Model Newcomer of the Year list, nominated by Break Media.
In 2011, Jordan’s popularity soared as she gained thousands of Facebook followers. She traveled extensively, producing numerous photo shoots for her website and international magazines, including Blueprint in the U.S., and publications in Sweden, Denmark, and Germany. Her appearances in ZOO Magazine, including six covers, established her as one of the world’s most recognized glamour models. Expanding her European presence, she signed an exclusive contract with a German TV production company and developed several television show concepts for the European market. During a German magazine TV shoot, she was photographed by TMZ paparazzi and featured on their program the following day.
Preparing to launch her JOCA brand in the U.S., Jordan further advanced her career in Germany in early 2012. She aired a reality pilot in June, appeared on the cover of the newspaper BILD while conducting interviews and filming, landed her first cover shoot for German magazine TV Digital, and made numerous talk show appearances, including on NachtCafe. She was also featured for a week on the German morning show Sat 1 as a celebrity trainee, conducting street interviews and hosting segments.
Just a few years after her first major images were published in BILD—a German newspaper with a daily readership of 12 million—the 26-year-old glamour, lingerie, and swimsuit model and savvy businesswoman boasts over seven million Google hits and is engaged in a whirlwind of activities, appearances, and product launches as 2013 approaches. Jordan recently signed a contract as the “brand ambassador” and spokeswoman for Redcoon across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, and filmed her first commercial for the company.
In October, she completed her first major layout in a North American men’s magazine, appearing in Maxim Mexico. This adds to her growing career as a cover model, which includes being the first German to appear on the cover of Great Britain’s popular weekly ZOO Magazine (six times to date) and shooting her first cover and centerfold for ZOO Weekly Australia earlier that year. Excited to release the inaugural Jordan Carver Calendar for 2013 available in the “Shop” section of her website, the curvaceous blonde is also channeling her passion for yoga into Yoga For Beginners, a visually striking instructional video featuring her demonstrating poses, stretches, and movements on a scenic rocky shore in Mallorca, Spain.
In Germany, Universal will handle distribution of her DVD. The soundtrack for Yoga For Beginners, composed by Sascha Ende and influenced by new age and world music, is available on iTunes.
Jordan will appear on the WGN Morning News in Chicago to demonstrate yoga moves from her DVD alongside anchor Paul Konrad.
Expanding into film, Jordan landed her first role in the independent feature _Who Killed Johnny? (2013)_ in July. Shot in Hollywood and directed by Swiss actress Yangzom Brauen, the film is slated for release in Switzerland in early 2013. Jordan views this role as a crucial step in her transition into television and movies.
