Rune has made a strong impression by portraying complex, charismatic heavy characters, often with a mischievous glint in his eye. A classically trained actor from DSL in London, Rune has collaborated with directors such as Taika Waititi, Gil Kenan, Anna Boden, Ryan Fleck, Dexter Fletcher, Alexander Payne, Anthony Byrne, Nick Murphy, Hettie Macdonald, Kieron Hawkes, Metin Hüseyin, Luke Watson, Harald Zwart, Nils Gaup, and Sarah Pia Anderson. He played the fierce "Bron-Char" in the MCU blockbuster "Captain Marvel" (2019) and delivered another memorable performance in the international hit "Eddie the Eagle" (2016). Rune has also appeared in numerous series, including "Rig 45" (2020), "The Machinery" (2020), and the Scandinavian hit comedy "Torpedos" (2018). He has taken lead roles in many critically acclaimed stage productions across Scandinavia, including Shakespeare’s "Puck," "Oberon," and "Hamlet." His stage work, spanning tragedy and comedy, has entertained audiences of all ages and contributed to his wide-ranging experience as an actor. Additionally, Rune has produced films and theater, written stage plays, and developed film projects. Before pursuing acting, he enjoyed a successful career playing professional football and bandy.
