Since graduating from the Drama Academy in Bern, Isabelle Stoffel has built an impressive international acting career. Born and raised in Switzerland, fluent in German and Spanish, she has performed with companies in Lucerne, Zurich, Basel, and Bern, as well as in Leuven (Belgium), Hamburg, Berlin, Madrid, and Rio de Janeiro. She co-founded Bern's Pantastica Productions group and has been a long-standing member of Nico and the Navigators, a Berlin-based mime troupe. Beyond the stage, Isabelle increasingly appears in German and Spanish television and film, including Berlin Is in Germany (film, 2001), Aerzteteam Nord (TV, 2001), Sobre El Arco Iris (film, 2003), Hinter Gittern (TV, 2003/4), 1 Franco, 14 Pesetas (film, 2006), and Invisibles (film, 2007). In January 2009, she stars in the leading role of the Spanish film El Consul De Sodoma while also performing in the play Los Hermoso Viaje De Los Osos Panda at Madrid's La Cuarta Pared theater.
