Biografia
Ben Simon is a British filmmaker, director, editor, cinematographer, video and music producer and musician based near Brighton, England.
With more than 25 years of experience in video production and storytelling, Simon has worked across commercials, branded content, music videos, narrative films, and digital media. He is the founder of Media Brighton, a production company that has created content for international brands including Michelin, Zeiss, BT, and Wolf1834.
As a filmmaker, Simon has written, directed, shot, and edited award-winning short films that have screened at festivals including Sci-Fi London, Glastonbury Festival, and Cannes in a Van. In 2026, he co-created and produced the vertical drama series Double Life, Double Love, a 43-episode romantic thriller released on the LoveDrama platform.
Alongside his film and television work, Simon is a musician, songwriter, and drum & bass producer. He was previously a member of the indie pop-rock band Silvermaker, whose music featured in the video game TrackMania Sunrise. He continues to write, produce, and release music while developing film, television, and digital drama projects.
Simon lives in Sussex with his wife and creative collaborator Annelies and their two daughters.
