Chip St. Clair is an acclaimed writer and screenwriter known for crafting emotionally driven, cinematic stories rooted in resilience and human connection. With more than twenty years of experience, he has written, ghostwritten, and edited over 80 bestselling books for major imprints, including Forbes Books, and has contributed to high-profile film projects such as 2 Hearts, which achieved global Top 10 streaming success.
He is the author of The Butterfly Garden, a bestselling memoir and Michigan Notable Book Award nominee that remains one of Levy Home Entertainment’s top 100 titles of all time, with film adaptation rights acquired. His work is recognized for blending narrative tension with deeply human storytelling, often exploring themes of identity, truth, and transformation.
Chip served as a script doctor on 2 Hearts, contributing to its success as the #1 film on Netflix upon release, and continues to develop original film and television projects. Alongside his wife and creative partner, Lisa St. Clair, he is represented by leading agency teams in New York and Los Angeles.
Beyond his creative work, Chip is a nationally recognized advocate for trauma recovery and youth empowerment. Chip holds an MFA in Fiction and a B.A. in Creative Writing from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. He resides in Michigan with Lisa, where they share a passion for creativity, advocacy, and nature, using their talents to inspire and uplift others.
