Biografia
Gabrielle was raised in Maryland, where she started performing in regional theater and school musicals. She secured her first TV role during her sophomore year of high school, portraying Kate Bosworth's sister on the WB's popular series Young Americans (2000). After studying theater at the University of Pittsburgh, she relocated to Hollywood.
Best known for her lead role as Spencer Carlin on The N's acclaimed series South of Nowhere, Gabrielle's enduring character in this award-winning teen drama made her a familiar face on television.
She has since appeared as a guest star on numerous prominent TV shows, including House, CSI: Miami, Hawaii Five-0, Numb3rs, The Middle, and Drake & Josh. Additionally, she has taken on supporting roles in several independent films such as American Gun, South of Pico, Girltrash: All Night Long, Jersey Shore Shark Attack, and most recently starred in the TV movie Love's Second Chance (2020).
Beyond acting, Gabrielle has worked behind the camera. In 2014, she produced and starred in Breaking Chains, a short film about a young woman's struggle against human trafficking in America. That same year, she received the Best Actress award at the Pasadena International Film Festival for her performance.
Gabrielle actively advocates for survivors of human trafficking as a spokesperson for FAIR Girls. She also stays involved in the LGBTI community in tribute to her role on South of Nowhere, having attended events like LOVE Fan Fest in Barcelona (2018) and ClexaCon in Las Vegas (2017).
When not acting, Gabrielle's greatest passion is mountain climbing. In 2016, she took a three-year break to travel worldwide with her husband and their dog Izzy. Together, they have climbed several peaks in the Sierra Nevada, summited Kilimanjaro, trekked the Camino de Santiago Frances, and explored the depths of Son Doong, the largest cave in the world.
