Biografia
Sean Bolger, an American actor and producer, was born in Teaneck, New Jersey, and grew up in the Chicago suburbs with his parents, Albert and Mary Nell Bolger. As the eldest of three siblings, Sean earned a Finance degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. After graduation, he applied his finance knowledge on the trading floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, launching a career in commodities and derivatives. While living and working in Chicago, Sean discovered a passion for acting through the city's dynamic theatre scene.
Starting as a season ticket holder at Chicago's renowned Steppenwolf Theatre, Sean soon auditioned for the Redmoon Theatre Winter Pageant, where his acting aspirations took root. This passion led him to participate in over 30 stage productions across Chicago, including performances at Steppenwolf, The Goodman, and A Red Orchid, alongside extensive training at The School at Steppenwolf, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, and The Second City. With this solid foundation and television appearances on The Chicago Code and Chicago Fire, Sean moved to Los Angeles to advance his career.
In Los Angeles, Sean has appeared in more than 30 television and film projects, including the acclaimed Twin Peaks: The Return, TNT's I Am The Night, and Amazon's period biopic Seberg. He has had the privilege to work with directors such as David Lynch, Patty Jenkins, and Eduardo Sanchez, and alongside actors like Chris Pine, Alfred Molina, and Kristen Stewart, among many others.
