Amy Kerr, a native of Halifax, started her modeling career at fifteen. She has won numerous awards in modeling, acting competitions, and beauty pageants. Amy has appeared in many Internet, print, and billboard campaigns, including those for Kameleon Jewelry, uMame Maternity, Metrin Skincare, Bodog, Maxim, UMM, Sports Direct/Wagerline, Nova Scotia Tourism, and The Canadian Cancer Society. She graced the covers of Eco Apparel catalogue, en.Vision, and Faces Magazines. Some of her advertisements appeared in Elle and Ok! Magazines, as well as storefronts and billboards, including locations like downtown Disneyland in California.
Although successful in modeling, Amy’s true passion has always been acting. After graduating high school, she auditioned for a local agency to represent her as an actress and began taking acting classes. Soon after, she landed her first guest-starring role as Desh in the sci-fi TV series "Lexx: The Dark Zone." Since then, Amy has worked alongside notable actors such as Cybil Sheppard and Tim Matheson in "Martha Inc.," playing Martha Stewart’s daughter, Lexi; Dean Cain, Brian Bosworth, and Mimi Kuzyk in the action film "Phase IV"; and Chris Cuthbertson, Sebastian Spence, Christopher Shyer, Ryan Scott Greene, and Nigel Bennett in Afterdark Productions’ feature film "A Bug And A Bag of Weed." She also starred opposite Joe Flaherty and Chris MacDonald in the award-winning feature "Summerhood."
Amy appeared as J-Roc’s baby's mother in multiple episodes of "Trailer Park Boys" during seasons 6 and 7. She portrayed Candy, the probation officer, opposite Flava Flav in the U.S. sitcom "Under One Roof." Recent projects include "Sex! With Hot Robots" by award-winning filmmaker Jay Dahl, which was the Gala opener at the 2010 AFF and aired on CTV and Bravo. She also appears in multiple episodes of "TV with TV’s Jonathan Torrens" on TVTropolis, Picnicface’s feature film "Roller Town," and a Canadian national commercial for Dempster’s Bread starring Sidney Crosby.
