Biografia
Nicole Randall Johnson was born in Los Angeles, California, and grew up in Portland, Oregon, and Phoenix, Arizona. She studied in the B.F.A. Acting/Directing program at the University of Arizona in Tucson.
She later relocated to Los Angeles, where after three years of sketch and improvisation training at the renowned Groundlings School & Theatre, she became a performer and writer for the Groundlings Sunday Company.
Following a year performing at the Groundlings, Nicole landed a role as a series regular on the NBC/Bravo half-hour comedy Significant Others (2004). After the show ended, she became a series regular and writer on FOX’s Mad TV during its 11th and 12th seasons. She gained popularity for recurring characters like "Ka-son" and "Da-rell," who were featured in multiple sketches that have collectively amassed over 35 million views on YouTube. Her Mad TV celebrity impressions include Condoleezza Rice, Oprah Winfrey, Eddie Murphy, Queen Latifah, Chris Rock, Beyoncé, Randy Jackson, Tyra Banks, Chandra Wilson, Star Jones, Mo'Nique, and Isabel Sanford.
Nicole has appeared in supporting roles in several films and has worked under directors such as Todd Phillips, Judd Apatow, Michael Bay, Curtis Hanson, Ken Kwapis, and Bob Odenkirk. In November 2008, she starred alongside Paul Rudd and Seann William Scott in the David Wain-directed comedy Role Models, marking her feature film starring debut for Universal Pictures.
