Biografia
Kika Serra is a Brazilian writer and documentary filmmaker whose work spans television, documentary series, and special productions for channels including GNT, Curta!, Canal Brasil, Futura, BIS, Arte1, and Multishow. She has contributed to documentaries selected for major festivals, including Festival do Rio, Mostra Internacional de São Paulo, In-Edit, and É Tudo Verdade. In 2015, she wrote and co-directed the web-based interactive documentary "Farselona", presented at festivals across Europe and the US, including SXSW (Austin), L'Alternativa (Barcelona), FICG (Guadalajara), Méditerranée en Images (Marseille), and MIDBO (Bogota). Her screenwriting credits include "The Roberto Brothers", "Expats", and "Threads" - all available on major international streaming platforms - as well as the music documentary "Constantly Flying, a Film About Baba Zula", which premiered at In-Edit Barcelona in 2022, and the feature film "Ninguém Pode Provar Nada - A Inacreditável História de Ezequiel Neves", shortlisted for Best Film at In-Edit Brasil 2026.
