Biografia
Chiderah Uzowulu is a Nigerian-American actor, writer, filmmaker, and recording artist who made a breakout debut with his feature film Hierarchy (2025). The gritty Texas crime thriller, which he wrote, produced, and starred in, secured a theatrical release before launching across Apple TV+, Prime Video, and Google Play. In 2025, Hierarchy made its streaming debut and hit #1 on STARZ before climbing to #4 globally on Netflix, and hitting the top 10 movies in over 20 countries; igniting a grassroots movement around independent storytelling and marking Uzowulu as one of the most compelling new creative forces in film. A multi-hyphenate in every sense, Chiderah also made his debut as a music artist through the Hierarchy Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, releasing two original singles, including the official trailer song. His approach to music mirrors his filmmaking, emotional, raw, and character-driven, blurring the lines between sound and story. He is the founder of SABi Productions, a Texas-rooted production company dedicated to making "the films we grew up on," movies with heart, grit, consequence, and unforgettable chemistry, inspired by the energy of late ’90s and early 2000s cinema. Before launching Hierarchy, Uzowulu sharpened his foundation at WME, gaining firsthand experience in representation, packaging, and deal-making, tools he now uses to build independently and on his own terms. With momentum across film, music, and storytelling, Chiderah represents a new wave of creators, one who builds his own lane and invites others to do the same. Beyond film, Chiderah is committed to championing bold independent voices and empowering the next generation of filmmakers through purpose, consistency, and creativity.
