Sascha Knopf, a New York-born actress and on-camera coach, has established herself as a seasoned talent in film, television, and theater. Her style combines Audrey Hepburn’s elegance with Marisa Tomei’s vibrant energy, earning her recognition for emotional depth, sharp comedic timing, and a strong, grounded presence. She has appeared in both independent and major studio films, sharing the screen with actors such as Christian Slater, Danny DeVito, and Jack Black.
A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and Circle in the Square, Sascha trained under renowned acting coaches Susan Batson and Sally Johnson, who greatly influenced her fearless emotional approach to performance. Her role as the quirky Bessie Smith in the indie comedy Expiration Date won her several Best Actress awards and made her a favorite at film festivals.
Cult comic fans also know her as Vampirella, the iconic character she embodied through trading card art and convention appearances, gaining a devoted following for her bold presence and unique charisma. Early in her career, Sascha was a member of the stand-up comedy group The Convicts of Comedy, where she honed her timing and improvisational skills through live performances.
Beyond acting, Sascha runs KNOPFoto, a business where she produces, coaches, and photographs actors, helping them discover their voice, improve their craft, and secure roles.
An ardent animal advocate, she dedicates time outside of her career to rescuing animals and advocating for those without a voice, working to reveal systemic issues and promote meaningful reform. She is also the godmother to Lizzie, a disabled rescue duck residing at Funky Chicken Sanctuary in Vacaville.
Living in Los Angeles with her rescue dog Lincoln and two cockatiels, Sascha continues to infuse her work with a blend of artistry, compassion, and conviction.
