Miroslav Mitic is a writer, director, and producer renowned for creating the record-breaking Zona Zamfirova film franchise. With over 20 years of international experience, he has crafted acclaimed feature films, series, and the global-format reality show Exchange Challenge. Dividing his time between Europe and the U.S., he focuses on developing original IP at the crossroads of storytelling, strategy, and innovation. Since 2002, Mitic has produced and co-produced numerous critically acclaimed films, including Nafaka (2006), in collaboration with Pierre Spengler (Superman I-III). His work has received awards at major festivals, such as the Grand Prix at the 10th European Co-production Film Festival for The Robbery of the Third Reich (2004), and has been recognized at Cannes, Berlin, Toronto, Montreal, Rio, Sydney, Kyiv, Vienna, and others.
In 2017, Mitic wrote and produced Zona Zamfirova 2, the highest-grossing film in Serbian cinemas that year. Beyond traditional production, he possesses extensive expertise in digital media, content marketing, and business strategy, with a background in IT and distribution models.
Miroslav continues to split his time between Europe and the U.S., developing original IP including the international film project Constantine the Great and the innovative reality show Exchange Challenge.
