Laurence Leboeuf, an award-winning actress from Montreal, Quebec, Canada, is currently captivating audiences on US screens in the NBC drama "Transplant," now in its second season. Laurence plays 'Magalie Leblanc,' a fiercely analytical second-year resident who relentlessly pushes herself.
Fluent in both French and English, Laurence began acting professionally at age 10 and quickly rose to prominence with multiple award nominations and wins. She has consistently landed leading roles in both French and English Canadian television and film productions. Her accolades include the Gemeaux Awards (French Canadian Emmys) for Best Actress in "Les Lavigueur," a series based on a true story of a family disrupted by a multi-million dollar lottery win; Best Supporting Actress for her role in "Musée Eden," where she portrayed a young girl transported to 1910s Montreal to care for her uncle’s wax museum in the Red Light District; and Best Actress for "Marche à l'ombre," which also earned her the Best Leading Actress award at the French Festival Séries Mania. In this groundbreaking series, she portrayed 'Rachel Marchand,' a social worker at a halfway house with sexually violent tendencies who engages in an illicit affair with a client.
