Biografia
Zarah Maillard, also known as Zarah, started her career as a recording artist performing with the multi-platinum rock band Goo Goo Dolls. She later became the face of the popular edutainment television series "B InTune TV," which uses music as a powerful tool featuring the who’s who of Hollywood.
Based in Los Angeles, Zarah had an affinity for both music and film at an early stage. She did modeling work and took fashion design in her spare time while honing her skills as a music artist. She underwent private training with vocal guru Seth Riggs, and studied acting at Joanne Baron Studio, then later took private lessons with renowned acting coach and film director Aaron Speiser.
Her first major appearance with the Goo Goo Dolls was at the historic 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. That success led her to a few more public performances across the country with the band while working with political leaders and projects that advance music and arts education for children, including the Grammy Foundation.
In 2005, Zarah debuted the nationally syndicated television show, "B InTune TV". The half-hour weekly show aired on major television broadcast and cable networks, CBS/Viacom and their affiliates, ABC, NBC, Fox, UPN, Dish Network, and DirecTV, to name a few, reaching over a hundred million households in America at its peak.
Her roster of guest appearances included Oscar-winners Jared Leto and Clint Eastwood, to musicians like Led Zeppelin, Coldplay, Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Jesse McCartney, and Beyoncé, the who's who of the entertainment industry. She was later recognized for her work as a television host and executive producer of the show.
Zarah served as co-chairman of the 35th Annual Philadelphia Film Festival in 2012. As the guest of honor, she delivered a speech empowering young talents in the film industry. She also co-hosted a radio special, "B InTune with U2 @ 30," featuring the rock band U2 on their 30th anniversary, which chronicled their life as a band.
In 2022, Zarah published her first novel, "Diamonds are For Cocktails." The following year, she released singles from her upcoming album "Blind Woman," which were critically acclaimed. By late 2025, she had finished her yet-to-be-released self-help book "Guardians of Our Dreams," which mirrors the same title of her song.
In 2026, Zarah premiered "The ZarahRocks Show" podcast series, an extension of her mission-driven work from "B InTune TV," where she empowers youth, helps overcome their challenges, encourages personal growth, and offers practical advice, featuring celebrities and industry professionals in an edutainment format.
