Greg Ellis is a bestselling author who mastered the Rubik's cube at age 12, set the world record for Pac-Man at 13, starred in a lead role in a West End musical at 14, achieved a number one single on the pop charts at 15, left school at 16, and moved out at 17. His major film credits include blockbuster franchises such as Pirates of the Caribbean, Titanic, Star Trek, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Beowulf. On television, he has appeared in 24 (Emmy-nominated cast), The X-Files, CSI, Dexter, NCIS, Hawaii Five-O, Magnum P.I., The Rookie, and others.
Greg has featured in Oscar-winning films, directed Hollywood stars, produced and written television shows, podcasts, and commercials, performed leading stage roles in original Andrew Lloyd Webber and Cameron Mackintosh musicals in London's West End and Las Vegas, and voiced over 1,000 characters across movies, TV series, cartoons, more than 130 video games, and toys. There are over 20 action figures based on characters he has portrayed in film and TV. As a solo artist, he has recorded multiple albums, singles, and soundtracks. Through his production company, Monkey Toes Studio, Greg has written and directed projects featuring Kiefer Sutherland and Stephen Fry, and produced and directed numerous commercials.
An adventurer and athlete, Greg has skydived from 10,000 feet, completed an Ironman and ten triathlons, won the South Beach Triathlon, qualified for the BMW golf championships, competed alongside ski legends Franz Klammer and Marc Giardelli, and played doubles with 12-time Grand Slam champion Mark Woodforde at Wimbledon on finals Sunday.
He has performed for Prince, Michael Jackson, Princess Diana, and HRH Queen Elizabeth II at three Royal Command Performances. Greg has co-written songs with Robbie Williams, sung the American National Anthem at New York Rangers and Oakland A's games, and performed a live duet with Kermit the Frog on the red carpet at the Pirates of the Caribbean premiere.
Greg is deeply involved in philanthropy. He has taught phenomenology classes to orphans born with HIV in India, shared storytelling at the Parva Slum School in Jaipur, practiced shamanic rituals with the Cherokee Nation, participated in purification sweat lodges with the Skidi Tribe, studied affect theory, psychology, and phenomenology, created the 'Mindwell' initiative with the Global Wellness Institute, and founded a charity.
