VICTOR'S VITAE After graduate work in Rome, Italy, Victor started his career under contract at 20th Century Fox Studios in Beverly Hills, CA as a screenwriter, where he wrote the original screenplay, "VOICE OF THE NORTH END" for famed director, Martin Ritt. Hundreds of commercial Film and Television projects then followed as Writer, Producer, and Director. (See: *IMDb Additional Background.") In 1990, Victor married Judy Belushi, widow of John Belushi. They, together with actor Dan Aykroyd, were involved in the formation and development of an entertainment restaurant/venue called The House of Blues, which incorporated the Blues Brothers Intellectual Property.
In 2007, the House of Blues was sold to Live Nation Entertainment for more than $550 million. Victor still owns the House of Blues territorial rights to Cape Cod, Nantucket Island, and Martha's Vineyard. For 20 years, Victor was also the lead negotiator for setting up many additional royalty streams and sub-licensing agreements for the Blues Brothers Intellectual Property rights on behalf of Mr. Aykroyd and Judith Belushi Pisano. Mr. Pisano formed NightOwl Productions as a production company after his Graduate Fellowship in Rome, Italy. He wrote, produced, and owns (through copyright) the critically acclaimed PBS mini-series, THREE SOVEREIGNS FOR SARAH, about the Salem Witch Trials. Victor received the largest grant at the time from the National Endowment For The Humanities (NEH) based solely on the submission of his original screenplay. The PBS mini- series starred Academy Award winners in leading roles: Vanessa Redgrave, Kim Hunter, and Phyllis Thaxter.

Victor has spent much of the last dozen years as an Adjunct Professor lecturing on Intellectual Property and Performing Arts at universities and colleges nationwide while developing a new Stage Play called, "CHANNELING JEFFERSON." He has also published a book entitled "Michelina's Letter" (on Amazon Books - 5 Stars) and is about to launch a second book for young writers and producers about how to have their Art support them rather than they supporting their Art, entitled "The Last Boat to Martha's Vineyard."
EDUCATION: . Victor is a graduate of Boston University's College of Communications, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree (cum laude). As mentioned above, Victor was the first American student to receive a motion picture work/study Fellowship at CineCittà Studios, in Rome, Italy, for his post-graduate studies. The two-year Fellowship was awarded to him by the Italian Consulate to the Vatican State.
EDUCATOR: . From 2004 to 2010, Victor Pisano was also the Dean of Theatre, Arts, and Entertainment at Hocking College, Nelsonville, Ohio. Victor began tenure as an Adjunct Professor and Lecturer at the college. . From 2004-2019, Mr. Pisano was also named an Adjunct Professor, lecturing on Intellectual The Property and Performing Arts at the University of Georgia and was retained as Visiting Professor at Havering College, Essex, London, UK, where he created the innovative International "Cross-Over Program" in conjunction with Hocking College. .
