Biografia
Laura Brunkala, originally from Cleveland, OH, attended Brush High School where she was deeply involved in the drama department and took a play to Ohio's State Theater Competition. She went on to Miami University (OH), quickly engaging with the film department and starring in her first feature film. Following this debut, she remained actively involved in numerous film productions. During her junior year, Miami hosted a film festival where her feature premiered; there, she connected with influential filmmakers worldwide, inspiring her to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in acting and filmmaking.
After graduating from Miami in 2008, Laura relocated to Los Angeles. She has since appeared in multiple commercials, starred in a Discovery Science pilot, and acted in various professional productions. In 2012, she embraced the challenge of writing, directing, and producing her first short film, "Messy is Perfect," completed in 2013. Her work attracted other filmmakers who sought her out to direct their projects. Discovering a natural talent for directing, Laura expanded her role in the industry, taking on numerous projects across directing, producing, and acting in shorts, TV pilots, TV shows, and feature films.
Now based in Los Angeles, CA, Laura dedicates her time to writing, acting, and creating films, continuously learning from industry leaders and bringing cinematic visions to life.
