Biography for Producer Victor Castanon Victor is a successful Producer, Casting Director, and Talent Manager. He assists new artists to identify and expand their innate talents by seeking unique professional opportunities that can help them achieve their highest potential. Victor also serves as a Business Consultant and Event Coordinator to local business owners and non-profit organizations in Los Angeles and Orange County. Victor was born and raised in Guatemala, Central America. He demonstrated natural abilities for leadership and passion for the arts during his early school years. As an adult, his first job was to coordinate all theatrical activities and music concerts for one of the most popular recreational centers in Guatemala. He produced his first theatrical production titled "Mundo de Burros" (Donkey World), a comedy that critiqued the various stages of Guatemalans in areas of religion, education, politics and daily lives.
When Victor relocated to United States, he continued to branch out into the entertainment industry and coordinated various community events. In 2003 Victor began to work closely with Hollywood Producer Jean Dale Glass and Director/Choreographer Lynsey Bartilson for Celebrity Center's musical production "Kids on Stage for a Better World", where youth could perform on stage and express their unique talents through music, acting, singing, and dancing. Victor served as Coordinator/Promoter of this unique organization for seven consecutive years.
In 2008, the Church of Scientology recognized Victor and his important contributions in the entertainment industry with a special award during a special event in Shrine Auditorium of Los Angeles, where he was recognized as one of the top 100 Producers in the world whose advocacy and support positively impacted the entertainment industry in the Latin community of United States. Victor's passion for the arts and theater has always been deeply rooted in his heart. In 2009 he wrote, directed, and produced his second theater production titled "Sonrisas en Navidad" (Christmas Smiles). His work received positive reviews from the local media, and his play was well-received by the Latino community in Los Angeles. Victor also partnered with Hollywood's International Celebrity Centre and organized various music concerts for the Latin community.
Throughout the years, Victor has made solid partnerships in the entertainment industry. Victor associated with renowned organizations in the Latin community such as COFECA and DEFISAL where Victor served them for five consecutive years with the coordination of annual festivals for the celebration of Central America's Independence in Los Angeles. Victor has also been an important contributor of important beauty pageants in Los Angeles, such as Miss Independencia El Salvador, Miss Independencia Guatemala, Miss DEFISAL, and Miss COFECA. Victor became a successful entrepreneur and launched new businesses that met the crucial needs of new artists. His knowledge and expertise in the organization of beauty pageants was a great asset for the establishment of his non-profit organization "Miss Guatemala Nuestra Belleza Chapina", which provided coaching and assessment to aspiring young Latin women who sought professional opportunities for success in the entertainment and television industries. He also assisted new artists through his organization New Talent Latin which provided guidance, and resources to singers who needed adequate support to record their music albums and other opportunities to showcase their talents. In 2013, Victor established an Event Production Company called Viktorious Productions which offered services for music production, video, and sound equipment for special events in Los Angeles and Orange County.
One of Victor's most recent achievement in television is the TV show "Dante Night Show" (conducted and produced by TV personality Dante Gebel), where Victor served as their Producer and Casting Director for three years. Since 2016, Victor included in the show approximately 270 international artists, including musicians from all genres, singers, actors, composers, choreographers, film directors/producers, and comedians.
Victor strongly supports the arts in all of its expressions. He is a strong advocate of human rights and a true philanthropist. He believes in the intrinsic goodness of human beings, and he respects and appreciates life in all its forms. He believes that as humans we have the responsibility to evolve, create, and flourish, and avoid the destruction of our beautiful planet at all costs. Victor is constantly amazed by the Universe, its creation, and its complexity. In his personal opinion, there is no doubt that we are part of a masterly creation, and that its Creator is the most undeniable truth that exits.
