Miss Clare is a seasoned showbiz professional. Beginning her career in commercials at just 7 years old, Jillian has appeared in numerous projects on both the big and small screens. Her notable roles include her double award-winning performance as pre-teen 'Abby Deveraux' on NBC's Days of Our Lives, guest spots on ABC's Castle and Suburgatory, as well as Victorious on Nickelodeon.
As a young actress, she featured in the original Spiderman starring Tobey Maguire and Catch Me If You Can. More recent films include leading roles in The Kitchen alongside Bryan Greenberg and Laura Prepon, and Alien Abduction, produced by Lawrence Bender and Mike Fleiss for IFC. In April 2016, Jillian was cast as one of the leads in Ladies of the Lake, an Amazon series adapted from a novel by longtime Days of Our Lives executive Ken Corday. The show ran for two seasons.
In early 2010, Miss Clare ventured into New Media, producing and starring in the multi-award-winning teen series Miss Behave. Her role earned her the "Best Lead Actress in a Drama" award at the 2011 International Television Festival and three consecutive Indie Series Award nominations for Best Lead Actress. In 2012, she expanded her web presence by starring in the Season Two finale of Clutch, a Canadian female fatale series, which won her Best Supporting Actress in a Drama at the 2014 Indie Series Awards. Jillian currently stars in Acting Dead, a dark comedy about Hollywood and zombies, notable as the first independent series to win a Primetime Emmy. She also made a special guest appearance on Fame Dogs, a mini-digital series acclaimed within the community.
Jillian starred in and produced Pretty Broken (formerly Free For All), filmed in her hometown of Portland, OR, which premiered at The Newport Beach Film Festival and was released in March 2019. More recently, she made her directorial debut with the feature film To The Beat!, following 14-year-old twin sisters competing in a dance contest for their favorite pop star's music video, which leads to rivalry with neighbors. She directed the sequel, To The Beat! Back 2 School, becoming one of the few women to direct both films in a series.
Beyond her artistic career, Clare is a passionate environmentalist and activist, dedicating time to various charities including the Beagle Freedom Project. She has also stepped into union activism, serving as Co-Chair of the SAG-AFTRA Los Angeles Young Performer's Committee, an elected member of the LA Local Board, Delegate, and participating on several other committees. Jillian is the proud mother to three beloved fur babies.
