Long Beach-native Chenine Lozano made her debut as a Rev New Media host in 2012, covering everything from music to lifestyle on the red carpet and providing viewers with up-to-date news through Hollyscoop, ModaMob, Stereotude, CaptainWAG and The Savory. Despite her new surroundings, Chenine jumpstarted her position with the same dream that has been replaying in her head since stumbling upon her first video camera; to be a pop culture-hosting powerhouse. Chenine's draw to reporting first surfaced at the age of 14 after watching Idalis Deleon cover MTV's Spring Break. The thought of getting paid to listen to music, interview artists, travel and party officially planted the hosting seed in her youthful mind. With Chenine assuming the role of TV personality on her family's documented trips, even memorizing blurps from traveling books and forcing someone to record her as she provided facts about a particular location, it was apparent she had an underlying connection to informing the public. Like so many other Hollywood newcomers, Chenine chose to be financially strapped in hopes of her dream coming true. The independent woman lived a double life for seven years, earning her B.A. in Communications and Business Entrepreneurship from Cal State University, Long Beach while bartending and working for free at entertainment news websites and production companies, not once losing sight of her hosting aspirations. Even when she was offered a six-figured job, Chenine turned it down, because being broke was better than not being a host. From the start, Chenine was in search of her dream hosting home that blended her love for pop culture and progression, but was met with a world revolving around reality TV news. Unwilling to be labeled as another "talking head," Chenine separated herself from the playing field by integrating her personal struggles into her hosting style to connect with her audience on a deeper level, resulting in her launching a site dedicated to improving the lives of hard-working women worldwide, called DomesticDivaLifestyle.com. Covering topics like smart shopping, travel, health and finance through webisodes and blogs, Chenine quickly gained a following for her innovative reporting techniques dedicated to helping women like her become financially savvy and self-sufficient while living in style. Her blogs became so highly respected that it led to her producing and hosting her own half-hour TV show as well as being recruited as a panelist by ABC executives. Chenine first tasted the reporting lime light as the lead host and journalist for WTV, helping the web channel reach a million views and increase its online presence during her year and half run. From there, the up-and-rising reporter landed a job with Safe Worlds News, producing short segments for its entertainment, health & beauty, international news, education, local news and sports headlining channels. In addition, Chenine is a guest news expert for Celebuzz's "Daily Buzz" and was named America's most beautiful 31-year-old in People magazine's "World's Most Beautiful" 2012 issue out of over 52,000 applicants. With a list of achievements in her back pocket, it's no wonder why Chenine contributes to each of Rev New Media's websites.
