Biografia
Erika has had the chance to collaborate with remarkable artists from both sides of the border: prominent Canadian directors like Atom Egoyan (Where the Truth Lies), American film icon Tony Goldwyn, Quebec legend Fabienne Larouche (30 Vies), and New York actor/writer/director Chazz Palminteri (Noel). She has also worked alongside the talented Paul McGuigan (Wicker Park) and emerging star Jacob Tierney (The Trotsky).
Hailing from a small farming community near Montreal, Quebec, Erika is a natural performer. She made her debut as Clara in the Nutcracker Ballet at just 8 years old. Her role as Cinderella in Rodgers and Hammerstein's musical during high school solidified her passion for musical theatre, and she has been dedicated to studying music, theatre, and dance ever since.
Erika received training from instructors at the Stratford Conservatory in Ontario, the Neighborhood Playhouse in New York, and theatre and voice experts at York, Ryerson, and the University of British Columbia. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Concordia University in Montreal.
An avid traveler and skilled photographer, Erika also enjoys horseback riding as a hobby. Her recent travels have taken her to India, Israel, Costa Rica, Hawaii, Barbados, Mozambique, and Italy. She loves ballet, piano, surfing, hiking, yoga, cross-country skiing, and is fluent in French.
