Abhinandan Jindal is an Indian television and film actor. Coming from a non-film background, he built his career through formal training and a steady progression of roles across Indian television and digital platforms. Born in Chandigarh, Punjab, to an Indian Army father and a mother associated with the Brahma Kumari organization, Jindal relocated to Mumbai to pursue acting. He trained at the Kreating Characters acting institute, joining an alumni network that includes actors such as Anushka Sharma, Tiger Shroff, and Kartik Aryan.
Abhinandan began his career with brief roles in shows like Diya Aur Baati Hum and episodiques like Saavdhan India and CID. Directors noted his reliability on set and consistent dialogue delivery with spontaneity. Consistent auditions with good performances in small roles in TV and episodiques eventually gave him one of the biggest shows of Indian television industry ‘Sasural Simar Ka’
Abhinandan Jindal, known for his versatility, in the 2016 daily soap Sasural Simar Ka, bagged his first series prominent role as Rohan Kapoor (one of the leads) portraying a mature and loyal family guy reminiscent of the responsible archetypes seen in films like Dillagi.
In 2017, he continued as a series regular in Thapki Pyar Ki, playing "Munna," a street-smart "Mumbaiya tapori" modeled after Aamir Khan’s character in Rangeela, while anchoring the show as the romantic lead. Post that he did a lead cameo role in Jiji Maa on Star Bharat. Again displaying an example of his versatility, he played an unconventional character in a complex love triangle, drew loose inspiration from Akshay Kumar’s comedic timing in Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Aamir Khan from Secret Superstar. The performance caught the attention of Star Plus executives, who directly recommended him for a parallel lead role in their upcoming series, Krishna Chali London.
He later played as one of the leads in Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega (2020), moving away from conventional tropes to deliver a high-intensity, aggressive performance.
For his work as a parallel lead in Krishna Chali London, Jindal received a nomination for "Sabse Mazedaar Sadasya" (Most Entertaining Member) at the 2018 Star Parivaar Awards and Indian Television Academy Awards. Transitioning to digital platforms, he was cast as the solo lead in the 2021 series Hari Mirch Laal Mirch, which aired primarily on the Azad network and MX Player, balancing comic timing with a romantic lead presence. He also appeared as Baba Raghav Das in the historical anthology Swaraj: Bharat ke Swatantrata Sangram Ki Samagra Gatha.
In 2024, Jindal made his feature film debut in the comedy Kuch Khattaa Ho Jaay, directed by G. Ashok. He plays Arun, appearing alongside Guru Randhawa and Saiee Manjrekar and veteran actors like Anupam Kher, Atul Srivastava and Illa Arun.
