Celeste Stoney is an American recording artist, actress, producer, and songwriter signed to her own record label, Level Music Entertainment, and Peermusic. She was born Felicia Celeste Scalone in Phoenix and later raised in Los Angeles. Her parents, Michelle Sparrow, an accounting professional, and Alan Scalone, an entrepreneur, divorced when she was young. From an early age, Celeste was driven by a passion to become a singer. Influenced by artists such as Michael Jackson, Madonna, Aerosmith, Mariah Carey, P!nk, Lily Allen, Adele, and Beyoncé, her music blends pop and soul with emotionally driven, powerful vocals.
She began her career as a demo singer and songwriter, working with Grammy Award-winning producer 7 Aurelius. Her first major release came in 2003 as a featured artist on "Murder Reigns" with Ja Rule, a platinum-certified single. Celeste gained national exposure as a semi-finalist on American Idol and as a finalist on Making the Band 3. She is also a first-place winner of the USA Songwriting Competition for Best R&B Song.
As a songwriter, Celeste has written for artists including Katy Perry, P!nk, Beyoncé, Jennifer Hudson, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna, Alexandra Burke, Bobby Brown, Foxy Brown, Ja Rule, Jessica Sanchez, and Raekwon, among others.
Her debut single, "My Kinda Crazy," generated industry buzz and led to performances at sold-out venues in Los Angeles, including the Grammy Next showcase, where she opened for The Weeknd. Her catalog also includes singles such as "Cool," "Mirror," "Miracle," "Living a Lie," and "Camouflage," showcasing her range from soulful pop to emotionally driven ballads.
Celeste’s music has been featured in television and film through sync licensing, including placements in Monogamy ("Living a Lie," "Mirror," "Miracle"), The Bold Type ("Sisters"), Obscene Beauty (including the end credit song "Shadows Come Alive"), Your Vote Matters (2025), and the short film Honeysuckle (2026).

In addition to her music career, Celeste is an on-camera and voiceover actress and served as a stand-in for Jessica Biel in The Truth About Emanuel. She is married to actor Ray Stoney, and together they have four children.
